Research Interests

• During my diploma thesis i was working on transcription-factor-DNA complexes and calculated their binding free energies in implicit solvent (MM/GBSA). I am still interested in the structural modeling of protein-DNA complexes for exploring sequence specific recognition of transcription factors.

• Studying protein-ligand interactions using flexible receptor docking approaches as well as molecular dynamics (MD) simulations.
