Description:
The First Immunomics Summer School will be held in Catania (Sicily) from August 24th to September 3, 2007. The School is organized under the auspices of the ImmunoGrid EC Project, the International Immunomics Society, ImmunoGenetics, the EC MARIE netwok, the Italian Society for Applied Mathematics, CINECA, the University of Catania. This school will offer advanced courses to students and researchers interested in the study of immunology and related applications. This course has special focus on Databases, Modelling Molecular interactions and System Modelling with the emphasis on analysis of immune system and related applications, such as vaccine and drug discovery. The course is suitable particularly for graduate students or young investigators from life sciences, medicine, applied mathematics, physics, engineering, and computer science. Students will have opportunity to present their work and discuss related issue with senior researchers in the Student Workshop. Presented papers will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee and the best papers will be submitted for publication in Immunome Research.
